Event Details

Join our webinar on Monday 9 November and hear about research.

Volunteer Ireland is delighted to be working on an exciting Erasmus+ project to extend the knowledge, understanding and availability of Family Volunteering opportunities.

Earlier this year we carried out research across the six partner countries and we look forward to sharing this information with you, we’ll explore what we’ve learnt, the barriers, the trends and explore some of the options of how you can get involved as a volunteer or volunteer involving organisation (VIO).

Over the coming months, we will be developing resources and toolkits to help volunteer involving organisations better understand and manage family volunteering. On the webinar we’ll be launching our pilot projects and we’ll be looking to partner and support a number of VIOs to pilot family volunteering projects in their organisations.

The project is implemented in partnership with: Pro Vobis (Romania) Volunteer Ireland (Ireland), Hrvatski centar za razvoj volonterstva (Croatia), Freiwilligen-Zentrum Augsburg (Germany), Vestre Aker Frivilligsentral (Norway) and the Centre for European Volunteering (Belgium).

This course will be run as an online webinar on Zoom and is free to attend.

The programme is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union
