Please join us for the launch of a new Women’s Aid Report on intimate relationship abuse, including online abuse, of young people (18-25) in Ireland.

This seminar will explore the main findings of the prevalence, nature and impact of intimate relationship abuse against young people (aged 18-25), including online abuse, and launch a new Too Into You public awareness campaign.

Address by President Michael D. Higgins.

Speakers include:

  • Sarah Benson, Chief Executive, Women’s Aid.
  • Helen McEntee, T.D., Minister for Justice and Equality.
  • Senator Ivana Bacik, LLB, LLM (Lond), BL, FTCD, Reid Professor of Criminal Law, Criminology and Penology at Trinity College Dublin.
  • Professor Clare McGlynn, Professor of Law at Durham University with particular expertise in the legal regulation of pornography, image-based sexual abuse and sexual violence.
  • Clare Austick, Vice-President for Welfare, Union of Students of Ireland.

This event will be chaired by Dearbhail McDonald, journalist, author and broadcaster and is free of charge.
