In line with its aims and remit the Royal Irish Academy (RIA) has a long history of promoting, supporting and communicating research. Four Archaeology Grants schemes offering funding opportunities for research across a number of areas are now open: Archaeology Research Excavation Grants, Archaeological Archives Research Grants, Archaeology Legacy Grants and Archaeological Research for World Heritage Sites.
