The role of PPN Workers includes supporting the Secretariat to develop the PPN in Galway County and collaborating with Galway County Council and other statutory bodies to develop the PPN as the reference point for the environmental, community & voluntary and social inclusion sectors in the county.

Mary Mullen is the PPN Resource Worker.
Mary has a BA in Geography and Gaeilge, and in 2018, completed a Masters in Environment, Society and Development from NUIG. She has been with the PPN since 2020, working with community groups to ensure citizen engagement and participation with their Local Authority.

PPN Support Worker
Duana Tuite is the PPN Resource Worker (acting).
Duana was PPN Support Worker, from April 2023-April 2024.
Duana has worked and volunteered in the community, youth, arts and education sectors in Galway over the past 15 years in a variety of roles involving coordinating, administration and communications.
Duana graduated with a degree in Business Enterprise and Community Development in 2017, and has a Diploma in Youth and Community Development.
