Creative Schools 2026

The Creative Schools initiative supports schools to put arts and creativity at the heart of children’s and young people’s lives, enhancing their learning experience.

It focuses on enabling schools to develop a Creative Schools plan over two years, working with a Creative Associate.

Creative Schools 2026 Information Clinics 

The Art Council are hosting online clinic for teachers and principals/coordinators of primary and post-primary schools, Special Schools and Youthreach centres interested in joining the Creative Schools programme 2026:

• Wednesday March 18 – 16:00
• Wednesday March 25 – 16:00 (This clinic will be through Irish)
• Wednesday 22 April – 16:00
