ESD to 2030 – Funding Call for Schools

Closing date: Friday 17th October 2025

The Department of Education and Youth is now inviting applications from recognised primary and post primary schools for Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) funding for school projects during 2025/26 in the area of Education for Sustainable Development. Priority will be given to ESD projects that include an element of Local Level Action and/ or Teacher Professional Learning. Grants of between €1,000 and €2,500 are available to schools. Total funding available under this ESD to 2030 call for schools in 2025 is €450,000.
