Galway 2020
From a celebration of sheep to tightrope walking, Galway 2020 promises to deliver thrills and excitement during 2020. Galway’s theme is “Making Waves – Landscape, Language and Migration” and the programme includes more than 50 projects, including special events from Galway stalwarts Macnas, Druid, Galway International Arts Festival, Galway Film Fleadh, and Music for Galway as well as many community based projects. Galway 2020 will bring the city and county an unprecedented focus at local, national and international level. It will allow Galway and Ireland as a whole to put our best cultural foot forward and promote the best of Irish creativity.
