The Cathaoirleach’s Awards are an annual initiative to acknowledge and celebrate voluntary activity by individuals and groups in County Galway, across a range of areas including arts & culture, heritage, An Ghaeilge, environment & climate action, sports and social inclusion.

The Awards Ceremony is being held this Friday 16^th May commencing at 6.30 p.m. sharp, and all shortlisted nominees have been invited to The Raheen Woods Hotel Athenry.

For the first time ever, we are live-streaming the Awards Ceremony on the Galway County Council Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/Galwaycounty/ and we invite you to join Cllr. Martina Kinane Cathaoirleach and Cllr. Ollie Turner MC for this celebration of voluntary activity across our County.
