Planet Youth – Stepping up to Sexual Health webinar – 1st July at 8pm
Planet Youth are organising a Free Facebook Live Webinar for the parents of 6th class children on Wednesday 1 July @ 8pm.
This webinar will provide information and support regarding positive sexual health. It aims to help you gain the confidence to communicate effectively with your child around issues that can be tricky to discuss The webinar also covers topics such as pornography, sexting and body image.
Planet Youth is a programme which is being administered through the Galway County LCDC (Local Community Development Committee) aimed at improving health and life outcomes for young people.
The Webinar is pitched at 6th class parents as kids would have missed the small element of sexual health education they might get in SPHE (Social Personal and Health Education) on the curriculum, but will also be of interest and use to anyone with kids from 11 – 15 years of age.
