Galway County Council through the Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) invites applications for funding from Community and Voluntary “not for profit” Groups within the Galway County administrative area, for the Community Enhancement Programme (CEP) 2021.
The Community Enhancement Programme aims to provide funding to enhance facilities in disadvantages areas / communities and this iteration of the programme will provide:
A) One-off grants towards costs associated with reopening of a facility or the sustainability of a facility
B) Grants towards projects or equipment enhancing facilities
The Community Enhancement Programme (CEP) is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development – https://www.gov.ie/en/press-release/df30eministers-humphreys-and-obrien-announce-45-million-to-improve-community-facilities/ Galway County Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) has been allocated an amount of €143,401 under the funding Programme and match-funding from other sources is not a requirement under this programme.

Applicants must submit a completed Application Form and supporting documentation on or before the closing date by (a) e-mailing a signed scanned version to [email protected] OR (b) posting it to Community Grants, Economic, Rural and Community Development Department, Galway County Council, Áras an Chontae, Prospect Hill, Galway.
